Howdy, I’m Rina!

I was born and raised in the foggy Richmond District of San Francisco, California. Growing up, I knew I was fascinated with communicating with people and that it was my career calling. 

This love lead me to pursuing an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and a minor in Business at San Jose State University.

Going through my years at university, I was interested in my PR courses, but I truly found myself gravitating towards classes that allowed me to design and taught me about design.

It could be anything from learning about font types to creating my own magazine cover ─ I was having fun.

With that coursework along with my Marketing and Outreach internship at Life Services Alternatives, I realized I could combine my passion for communication and design through digital marketing!

Currently, I'm a Graphic Designer at the County Of Santa Clara Technology Services And Solutions-Social Services (TSS-SS). Being there has allowed me to hone my technical creative skills with Illustrator, Photoshop, and other applications of the same vein.
